Thai Café offers products containing fish, shellfish, crustaceans, mollusc, sesame, soy, modified milk product, egg, wheat, peanuts, cashew, and other allergens. While we take steps to minimize the risk of cross contamination, we cannot guarantee the total absence of any allergen or that any of our products are safe to consume for people with allergies to such.
Particularly for people allergic or intolerant to Gluten, or suffering from celiac disease, it is impossible for us to guarantee the total absence of this allergen which is often contained in soy sauces.
If you think you may be allergic to any ingredient contained in any of our products, please consult your physician prior to consuming. Staff at the Thai Café stores are not experts on allergens and you cannot rely on them to inform you about their presence in our food products. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of gluten. We do not recommend this as an alternative for people who suffer from celiac disease.
The presence of allergens, or traces of allergens, is indicated by the pictogram next to each item on our menu. In many cases, the presence of certain allergens is due solely to the use of sauces typical of Thai cuisine, for example, Nam Pla sauce (fish sauce) involves the fish allergen, or Naman Oy sauce (oyster sauce) involves the allergen Mollusc. Our staff can provide you with information on these subjects.
